Give your BMW an iPod face lift

Tuesday June 22, 2004
What happens when you get two companies together who have proven, creative track records in their respective industries? Check this out: BMW and Apple have partnered to provide direct connectivity between your iPod and a BMW car. Called the BMW iPod Adaptor, this system will allow drivers of BMW's 3 Series, Z4 Roadster, X3 and X5 Sports Activity Vehicles and MINI Cooper to plug their iPods into a cable in the glove compartment. This will provide a direct connect into the car's stereo system. Control of playback and other features can be done through the buttons on the steering wheel or via the audio system controls on the dash.
