Apples introduces fourth generation iPod

Apple rolled out a new generation of its ultra-popular iPod digital audio player yesterday. The most notable thing about this new player is a click wheel similar to the one already found on the hot iPod minis. The click wheel essentially allows touch sensitive navigation and five button control to be combined into a nifty one handed control scheme.The fourth generation iPod also will offer 12 hours of battery life and a new feature called Shuffle Songs, which allows you to shuffle a playlist or all of the music on the player. The 20GB model is priced for $299 and the 40GB for $399.
