New mini digital projector from Mitsubishi
Electronics manufacturer Mitsubishi is sporting a new palm sized digital projector which could serve as an excellent accessory to any portable video device. Known as the PocketProjector, this 14-ounce device is set to price at $699 when it hits store shelves this July.
The PocketProjector works much like any other projector by hooking up to a video source. It is lit by three LEDs which produce a SVGA quality image. Mitsubishi says the new mini projector will also have one of the shortest projection distances of its type today, producing a 20-inch screen from a little over a foot away.
