Digital Mind pulls wraps off of low cost MP3 player line

Digital Mind Corporation, the folks who brought you the market's first ever 100 GB MP3 player back in October, announced last week they had added a new low cost 30 GB model to their product line. The DMC 8280, priced at $299, is available for purchase now.
The DMC 8280, which also has a 20 GB option, comes standard with an FM transmitter which will allow owners to play music through their car stereo without the need for wires. It supports MP3, WMA and OGG music file formats, has a built-in FM tuner with recording capability, offers voice recording and acts as a USB backup storage drive. The rechargeable battery will provide an estimated 15 hours of battery life.
The DMC 8280 measures 3.9 X 2.6 X 0.7 in, weighs 6.3 oz and offers a 2.5-inch display screen.
