iriver unveils new T family of flash memory players

iriver, a maker of MP3 players, today introduced their new T family of digital audio players. This new line up of players comes from two groupings within the T family: the T10 series and the T30 series. All with be available this month.

All of the iriver T players use flash based memory to store songs and are also compatible with popular portable music subscription services such as Napster to Go and Yahoo Music Unlimited. The T10 series includes 512MB ($149.99) and 1GB ($199.99) options for storage of MP3, OGG and WMA (including DRM) music files. Other features in the T10 group include a vivid color display, up to 45 hours of battery life for music playback, support of USB 2.0 high speed file transfers, integrated FM tuner/recorder, integrated voice recorder and a built-in sports clip for active users.

The T30 series meanwhile comes also in 512MB ($99.99) and 1GB ($149.99) options for internal flash memory storage. It supports the same music files as the T10 series, has a four line backlit display and can record audio from any source, among its various features.

"Our introduction of the T family gives our customers an expanded array of options for exploring, downloading and enjoying music."
