Klipsch gets its iGroove for the iPod on
High performance speaker manufacturer Klipsch Audio Technologies yesterday got their iPod groove on as they announced the iGroove all in one shelf music system. Designed with the iPod in mind but also compatible with other MP3 players, this unit is slated to hit the market this month for $279.99.
The Klipsch iGroove is a stand alone shelf speaker system with dual 2.5-inch fiber-composite woofers, dual 1-inch tweeters and a built-in iPod dock. The dock allows an iPod to be plugged into the iGroove and controlled via an IR remote. The iGroove also accepts other MP3 players and satellite radio receivers via an included adpator.
“By adding the iGroove to its iPod-solution offerings, Klipsch is providing yet another way for listeners to significantly enhance their digital music experience,” said Tony Ostrom, director of product marketing. “The iGroove is designed to deliver superior dynamic range, detail and clarity, allowing users to hear the subtleties in their favorite music that were once hidden beneath the surface.”
