COWON debuts iAUDIO U3 portable media player

COWON America, a division of Korean multimedia company COWON Systems, earlier this week announced the American availability of their iAUDIO U3 flash memory portable media player. This unit comes in white colored 1GB and black colored 2GB sizes and is priced at $189.99 and $269.99 respectively.
The iAUDIO U3 has a wide range of features, which include:
- 1.2”, 260k color TFT-LCD screen
- playback of MPEG4 video files
- playback of MP3, WMA, OGG, ASF, FLAC, WAV audio files
- display of JPEG digital images and TXT text files
- USB 2.0 support
- rechargeable battery which provides up to 20 hours of audio playback
- FM recording and receiving
- voice recording
- line-in recording
- 60mW audio output
- 8 different color theme skins
- variety of audio enhancements such as five band equalizer with presets, bass booster, three-dimensional sound
- digital alarm clock
