ezGear announces iPod friendly portable speaker system

Salt Lake City based ezGear, a marketer of iPod accessories, yesterday announced a new 2.1 speaker system for the iPod family. The new ezSound 2.1 is priced at $109.98 and should be available now.

The ezSound 2.1 speaker system is a portable three speaker audio system which features a 2.5” vented subwoofer that can be powered by batteries or AC power. The one piece unit measures 4” x 5-1/4” x 1-5/8” and weighs less than ten ounces. A fold out lift on the bottom helps direct sound and four rubber bumpers keep the ezSound 2.1 system from slipping or scratching the surface it is resting on.

Other features of the ezSound 2.1 include a built-in docking station which allows for data synchronization and also iPod battery recharging when powered by the included wall adapter and two data ports as well as a line out audio port on the back.
