New iTrip for iPod nano now shipping from Griffin Technology

Friday December 30, 2005
Griffin, a maker of popular iPod accessories, today began shipping a new iTrip FM transmitter. This newest entry is the iTrip for iPod nano and it’s priced at $49.99.

The iTrip for iPod nano keeps to the nano’s slim lines in how it attaches to the player. Micro grip technology, a sled design and minimalist controls all help to keep the combined devices to a small shape. Integration of all controls, including seeing what channel the iTrip is broadcasting to on a FM radio, are handled through the nano itself.

Features of this newest iTrip include dynamic volume control for the best audio quality possible, dual listening modes (mono or stereo) for the best possible reception, support for US, International and Japan FM modes and the ability to charge and sync the nano with a computer while the iTrip is attached through a USB port.
