Griffin offers up TuneFlex for iPod nano

Wednesday February 22, 2006
Griffin Technology, a maker of popular iPod accessories, today announced a new flexible car mount and charger for the iPod nano. The new TuneFlex is priced at $39.99 and should be available now.

The TuneFlex, according to Griffin, has a flexible steel neck which can be adjusted to various angles or elevations to make controlling the iPod nano easier. The cradle of the TuneFlex is designed to grip the iPod and rotates to stay upright and readable in any position.

Other features of the TuneFlex include recharging the iPod nano by channeling power to it from a car’s 12 volt accessory outlet, a built-in fuse to help protect against power surges, a 1/8” stereo line-out jack to attach cassette adapters or cables and a pass-through dock connector to hook up with other iPod-related accessories.
