Horizon Battery/Ansmann introduce new Sony PSP external power pack
Horizon Battery, the American distributor for battery company Ansmann Energy, yesterday announced the general availability of a rechargeable battery pack which provides up to 10 additional hours of playtime for Sony’s PlayStation Portable handheld video game system. The new Ansmann Portable Power Pack for Sony PSP is priced at $49.99.
The Ansmann Portable Power Pack for Sony PSP, said Horizon Battery, connects directly to the PSP through its power adapter port and reportedly recharges the Sony PSP’s internal battery while a gamer plays. The power pack itself can be recharged 500 or so times through the PSP’s external power supply or via a USB port from a computer with the supplied USB cable. The design of this product matches the PSP’s look and includes a retractable charging cord.
“The Ansmann rechargeable battery was recently reviewed by PSP World and Gamers Reports and received an “A” rating and 9.0, respectively,” said David Schliep, VP of Sales and Marketing for Horizon Battery, in a statement. “As compared to the batteries already on the market, the Ansmann rechargeable battery is a hands-down winner. Serious gamers will appreciate the design, features, and function of this attractive, powerful and light-weight accessory.”
