New iSkin iPod nano accessories target the active crowd

iSkin, a maker of stylish iPod cases, yesterday unveiled two new iPod nano accessories targeted towards those who take Apple’s slimmest MP3 player with them during athletic activities. The new iSkin DuoBand and iSkin slims are available now for $29.99 each.

The iSkin DuoBand, said the product’s maker, serves as a portable case which offers full access to both the nano’s digital screen and click wheel while protecting the player in a double layer of polycarbonate and silicone. This reportedly makes the case sweat resistant, keeping the player dry even during high- intensity aerobic workouts. The DuoBand comes with a one-size-fits-all armband available in either black or pink, which also has a reflective strip to offer protection to users who exercise outdoors at night.

Those wanting greater color choices, either in conjunction with the DuoBand’s case or as a standalone product, may well be drawn to an iSkin slim. The slim offers the same double layer protection as the DuoBand and comes in a range of five colors, including a white which glows blue in the dark.
