Bang & Olufsen Debuts Portable Audio System

Bang & Olufsen, a Danish developer of high end consumer electronics, announced at the end of March a new portable audio system which sports a full-range mono loudspeaker in a stylish design. The new BeoSound 3 is available for consideration at a local Bang & Olufsen retail store.
The BeoSound 3, said Bang & Olufsen, has a FM radio, s SD (Secure Digital) card reader slot and clock-timer along with rechargeable battery packaged into an anodized aluminum cabinet. Music options available for listening through the BeoSoound’s mono loudspeaker include FM through the built in radio or MP3 and WMA music files stored on a SD/MMC memory card.
Other features of the BeoSound 3 include 59 radio presets, a large black handle for easy carrying, a motorized antenna and a soft-touch top panel for controls which does away with what its developer considers unsightly, protruding buttons and knobs.
