Klipsch Adds Black iGroove iPod Speaker System

Thursday May 4, 2006
Klipsch Audio Technologies, a developer of high performance loudspeakers, today announced they were expanding their well received iGroove iPod speaker system with the unveiling of the iGroove HG. This new system is priced at $249.99 and will be available in June.

The iGroove HG, said Klipsch, is much like the existing iGroove already on the market, only this time it’s encased in a stylish, high-gloss black finish and unique curved shape. The iGroove HG can natively recharge and allow to dock with it all third generation and up dockable iPods and comes with special iPod mini and nano adaptors so those iPod models can be docked as well. The shuffle may also be connected via an included J-cup adaptor.

Besides also being compatible with other MP3 players and devices which have audio out or headphone jacks utilizing standard mini-plugs, the iGroove HG has among its features an included remote control and “dual 2.5-inch woofers, crossovers and dual 1-inch MicroTractrix Horn-loaded tweeters”. What does this mean for you? A good quality sound experience given this company's reputation for putting out well built products.
