JBL Offers Up New iPod Speaker System
JBL, a designer of well regarded speaker systems, is once again turning their knowledge of good audio towards iPod users as they today unveiled a high-performance entertainment dock for Apple’s digital audio player. The new JBL Radial is priced at $299.95 and should be available in June.
The JBL Radial, said the company, has a sleek and modern look which reportedly delivers a great sound as well. It comes in either black or white, both with chrome accents, and is compatible with all dockable iPods such as the 5G iPod and iPod nano. For these devices, it offers nice features such as the ability to view photos and videos stored on an iPod to a monitor or TV connected to the Radial, the ability to recharge a player’s battery and an included remote which controls iPod functions such as changing tracks and scrolling through extras.
Other features of the new JBL Radial include 60 watts of total power, four full-range neodymium audio drivers, “signature technologies” which help to deliver a superior sound and a mini stereo jack for connecting other portable electronics such as portable DVD players and other MP3 players.
