Griffin's PowerDuo Charger Doubles iPod Charging Fun

Thursday May 11, 2006
Griffin Technology earlier this week unveiled the PowerDuo Charger bundle, which combines two Griffin products to provide a complete travel and home charging solution for iPod owners. The PowerDuo Charger is priced at $39.99 and available now.

The PowerDuo Charger, said Griffin, consists of the PowerJolt and PowerBlock charging units. The PowerJolt is designed for use in the car, charging an iPod via a 12V accessory port or cigarette lighter. It has a status LED to indicate that it is ready for charging and protects the iPod from overcharging or power surges via a replaceable fuse.

The PowerBlock is a full featured AC power supply which powers and charges almost any iPod from a wall outlet. It automatically handles 110 to 240 volt electric service and has flat bladed, non-polarized plugs for use with international plug adapters.

The PowerDuo Charger bundle also comes with a USB Dock Connector cable and 48” USB Type A to mini-B cable.
