Mustek Releases Portable DVD Player

Mustek earlier this month rolled out a portable DVD player which sports a large viewing screen. The new MP100 is priced at $299.99 and should be available now.
The MP100, according to Mustek, has a rotating 10-inch screen which is ultra-bright and supports 16:9 aspect ratio video playback. The MP100 supports a variety of disc formats for playback, including DVDs, CDs, MPEG-4 (DivX, Xvid, AVI) videos burned on DVD-R/RW’s, MP3 music and Kodak Picture CDs. It can also display photos and digital music stored on MMC/SD memory cards.
Other features of the Mustek MP100 portable DVD player include output of 5.1 channel Dolby Digital for surround sound, support for both NTSC and PAL video formats, S-video out, a USB port, coaxial digital audio output, a weight of 2.7 pounds and a built-in rechargeable battery.
