Belkin Antes Up iPod nano Car Cassette Cradle

Monday June 26, 2006
Belkin last week introduced an all-in-one, in-car audio solution for mounting, powering and playing an iPod nano. The new Belkin TuneDeck for iPod nano is priced at $49.99 and will be available in July.

The Belkin TuneDeck for iPod nano, according to Belkin, plugs into a car’s cassette deck via a special cassette adapter, which allows it to play the nano’s audio through a car’s speakers. It comes with an included mounting option for rotating the nano so its screen can be easily viewed and a provided mobile power cord both charges and powers the nano as it sits in the custom cradle.

Other features of the TuneDeck for iPod nano include the ability to work with most car tape players and a inner-magnetic and shake-resistant design.
