Altec Lansing today introduced what they are calling a high end home iPod speaker system. The new M602 is priced at $199.95 and available now.

The M602, according to Altec Lansing, is designed to deliver “crisp, clear highs and room-thumping lows”. While designed to work with the iPod, this speaker system also has a universal MP3 player cradle, so it can support a variety of players. Described as being the size of a laptop computer, the M602 speakers also feature composite video output displays, a wireless remote, the ability to charge and sync a docked iPod, a headphone jack and a wall mount kit.
