Dell Exits MP3 Player Space?

It looks like Dell has left the MP3 player market as a branded entity, no longer offering for sale their DJ Ditty portable audio player on their online sales site. Dell had dropped part of its MP3 player line back in February and now looks to have gotten out altogether. Though there has been no official word from the company yet, a search of their e-store no longer reveals any Dell branded players for sale, though they still look to be selling accessories. Third party MP3 players are for sale however. Also, as reported by iLounge, Dell forum posters have noted the Ditty dropped from Dell literature, among other factoids. Score another kill in the Apple iPod column.
