Microsoft Gets Its Zune On

It’s been a huge week in portable electronics news. First came word of the new Amazon Unbox video download service which can be used with select portable media players and offers a huge array of movies and TV shows. Then Apple opens the curtain on their new iPods as well as their new iTunes movie download service featuring movies from Disney and related studios. Now to the stage comes Microsoft as today they released a slew of new details about their Zune portable media player and Zune Marketplace, an online music service similar to iTunes.
