Delphi Announces New Portable XM Satellite Receiver

Delphi, a maker of portable satellite receivers, today said they will bring to retail December 1 the SkyFi3 for $229. This device is designed to play on-the-go satellite radio from satellite radio provider XM.
The SkyFi3, according to Delphi, lets a user listen to live XM Satellite Radio or store up to 10 hours of XM programming in its internal memory. It also supports playback of MP3 and WMA music files through removable Micro SD memory cards. This player has a large nine line display, an internal eight hour rechargeable battery and a function which continuously and automatically saves the last 30 minutes of live XM audio so a user can pause a song or program with a single button press. Other features of the SkyFi3 include a smaller design over previous SkyFis, playlist creation and a personalized ticker which displays stock quotes.
