mobiBlu Releases Extremely Small MP3 Player

mobiBlu, a maker of very small digital audio players, announced this week in conjunction with Podcast Ready the Cube2, described as the world’s smallest multimedia player. This device is available now for $99.99.

The mobiBlu Cube2 is Podcast Ready enabled, meaning it comes pre-installed with podcast management software which lets one download podcasts directly to the player through an Internet connected computer. Besides support for podcasts, this 1-inch by 1-inch by 1-inch player which weighs 0.63 ounces features a full color OLED screen that supports song and playback information, video clips, digital pictures, and comes in a variety of colors including black, silver, blue, and pink. The Cube2 comes in 1GB and 2GB storage sizes, supports MP3 and WMA audio files, is PlaysForSure certified for playing back subscription audio from online music services, has a built-in FM radio with FM recording and can also act as a voice recorder.
