CES 2007: Clifford Scout420

Directed Electronics, through their Clifford brand, has announced at the Consumer Electronics Show the Clifford Scout420. This hybrid GPS/portable media player is priced at $700 and will be available in late February.

The Clifford Scout420 is a portable navigation system with pre-loaded North American maps and more than 2 million points of interest, which also functions as a 20GB portable media player with a 4.3-inch color touch-screen. The Scout420 features a 100 channel FM transmitter, AV-in and Mini-USB for recording from TV, DVD or camcorder, a compact design and three-hour internal rechargeable battery. It is also Sirius Satellite Radio ready with an optional accessory. It comes standard with a carrying case, cigarette lighter adapter, AC adapter, car mounting kit, USB cable, memory card, and owner's guide.
