A No-Name iPod Speaker System that Looks Interesting

Monday April 14, 2008
Not all interesting iPod speaker systems come from name brand companies like Sony and Apple. Many come from obscure manufacturers and importers of electronics. The latter of these two is the case with this new Sourcingmap.com wireless Bluetooth iPod system, priced at around $120.

Sourcingmap.com is an importer of electronics from Hong Kong, where a lot of the electronics you see on American shelves are made. This particular offering is a multi-functional alarm clock style iPod speaker system. It has a built-in iPod dock to fit a variety of iPod models and lets you enjoy the music from your Apple music player while recharging the iPod's internal battery. It also includes a remote control to let you control basic features such as play and volume.

Sourcingmap's wireless iPod system is wireless as well because it can make use of Bluetooth, a technology found in cellphones, to wirelessly play music from such devices. This product can also play digital music off of inserted SD/MMC memory cards and attached USB players such as the first generation iPod shuffle. This iPod alarm clock looks to be on sale now.
