Griffin Announces New iPhone 3G Cases
Griffin Technology is another iPod accessories company which decided to ride on the coattails of this week's iPhone 3G announcement. It is debuting a line of cases specifically designed to fit Apple's latest mobile phone.
Griffin will initially kick off four different cases when the iPhone 3G debuts July 11, with all of them pricing around $25. The Wave, pictured in this story, sports "wave-shaped contours" which overlap and interlock. It is available in four different colors and allows full access to all controls. Joining this one is the Nu Form with EasyDock, a hard shell case with a no clip design which sports a screen protector that won't interfere with access to the touchscreen. It will be available in black or white body colors.
Other new Griffin cases for the iPhone 3G include the Elan Form with EasyDock and Elan Clip. The former is a hard shell leather case which blends leather and polycarbonate material for two layers of protection, while the other case is similarly wrapped in two layers but includes a belt clip offering 180 degree rotation so you can check your iPhone without taking it off your belt.
