Two New iPhone Clock Radios Debut from iHome
SDI Technologies, a maker of iPod and iPhone accessories under its iHome brand label, recently began selling at retail two new clock radios designed with the iPhone in mind. These are the regular iP99, priced at around $150, and the Bluetooth-enabled iP47, priced at around $200.
The iHome iP99 looks much like your traditional clock radio. What is noticeably different, however, is the iPhone docking slot on the top plate. This dock allows you to both listen to music on your iPhone through the iP99's speakers and charge your mobile's batteries. Other features include the ability to wake up to music from your iPhone, an auto-clock-set mode, AM/FM and a backlit LCD display with dimmer.
The iHome iP47, meanwhile, is noted for being Bluetooth enabled. This means, using your iPhone's matching Bluetooth functions, you can wirelessly dial and receive calls through this clock radio's speakerphone function as well as seeing who is calling on its LCD display. AM/FM, iPhone charging and dual alarm modes are also just a few of the other iP47 features. Both iHome iPhone clock radios are available now. [via]
