Coby Electronics Selling New Portable Media Players

Thursday July 3, 2008
Coby Electronics, a lower profile maker of portable electronics, apparently recently introduced a new line of portable media players here in the United States. These players are known as the MP705 and MP715 and both feature, for those who care, the Actions Series 13+ ATJ2135 chipset.

The Coby MP705 and MP715 portable media players are similar in that they both sport LCD full-color displays which are 2-inches or slightly larger and support USB 2.0 data transfers from host computers. Their main variance on major features is in the control mechanisms - the MP705 has a touchpad interface control with LED light, while the MP715 has you use a trackball for on-screen selections.

Other features of the MP705 and MP715 from Coby include support for a variety of digital music, video and image files, integrated FM radio, a rechargeable battery and on-screen display of song information. Both should be available now.
