World's Thinnest Portable Media Player? Perhaps.

Tuesday July 29, 2008
The world's thinnest portable media player. That's quite a title to try and take hold of. The idea of an extremely thin media player you can slip into your pocket would make many a consumer quite happy. Electronics importer Chinavasion thinks it may have found such a device for around $40.

Chinavasion is one of those types of companies which makes available for sale products you might never otherwise see outside of Asia. This particular portable media player, the Chinavasion CVSB-1304, is reportedly about the size of four or so credit cards stacked upon one another. It has some pretty key features, including 4GB of memory, touch button control and a 1.8-inch color display.

Other features of the CVSB-1304 include a built-in voice recorder, playback of MP3 audio/MP4 video, FM radio, an earphone jack and a rechargeable battery. It looks to be available now.
