Speedo Has Its Own MP3 Player for Swimming

Tuesday August 5, 2008
Wouldn't it be nice to do your swim workout with your favorite digital music? Speedo has a relatively new waterproof MP3 player on the market which might be able to deliver on your wet workout dreams, though it will cost you at around $145.

The Speedo Aquabeat sports a waterproof design which will hold up to about three meters underwater. It includes waterproof earplugs and will even float if you lose it while taking a lap. The 1GB of built-in memory storage holds up to 250 MP3 songs and the player will get you around nine hours of rechargeable playback time.

Other features of the Aquabeat include three body color choices, ergonomic button design and music management software. It is available now. [via]
