Vuzix Unveils Widescreen Portable Video Eyewear
Vuzix Corporation's primary focus is development of personal display devices for the entertainment and medical markets, namely developing video eyewear. One of its newest products is the iWear AV310 Widescreen, said to be the first ever widescreen personal video eyewear. It is priced around $250.
The Vuzix AV310 delivers what its maker says is a true widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio while wearing it, projecting a virtual 52-inch screen from nine feet. It is compatible with most video devices and can run up to five hours on a single AA battery.
Other features of the AV310 include independent focus adjustment, adjustable earbuds and nosepiece and on-screen display settings control. You can visit Vuzix's Web site for more details on this video eyewear.
