Otto Traveler Combines Headset, MP3 Player

Wednesday October 15, 2008
Otto Engineering, a maker of commercial grade audio products, recently unveiled a new headset which doubles as a MP3 player. It is called the Traveler and you'll find it pricing around $150.

The Otto Traveler is a noise-canceling headset with a built-in 1GB MP3 player. With it you can store up to 250 songs or 1,000 minutes of audiobooks. An obvious advantage to this headset, which can run off of AAA batteries, is that it is completely portable and also doesn't require you to have a cable connected to a separate player.

Other features of the Traveler include noise reduction technology which is said to reduce up to 85 percent of surrounding noise, padded leather ear cups, a folding flat design and a hard-shell case for storage. You can get more details on the Traveler at Otto's Web site.
