Zune Software Update Offers New Games, Better Stability
A new Microsoft Zune portable media player software update announced today adds "a handful of free games, a refresh to Zune Social and incremental improvements to the software." The update is available at no cost to those already using previous versions.
The new Zune software, now at version 3.1, is said to include three new games, including Checkers and Sudoku, as well as new features for Texas Hold'em. Refreshments of the software stability itself include "improved play count reporting and content synchronization between the Zune software and the Zune device."
The updated Zune Social is a visual touch up designed to make it easier to use, while also offering a new feature called like minded listeners, which "will let you see how compatible your music tastes are with other listeners and friends." You can download the software update at the Zune Web site. [via Zune Insider]
