CES 2009: Altec Lansing BackBeat
Altec Lansing is using the Consumer Electronics Show this week to showcase a new line of corded headphones which offer better quality sound and a personalized fit. This line is called the BackBeat series and five models, ranging in price from $30 and up, are available.
The new BackBeat headphones, said Altec Lansing, include three headphone models and two microphoned models. Altec Lansing, known for its computer speakers, takes this audio technology expertise and builds it into the headphones. This is combined with a sound isolating, in-ear fit to make what the company feels is a better headphone.
Features of the BackBeat headphones, depending upon the model, include interchangeable ear tips, enhanced speakers and a neoprene carrying case. More details on these Altec Lansing headphones can be found at the product Web page.
