CES 2009: iLuv i1166

iLuv, a maker of iPod and iPhone accessories, is showing off at this year's Consumer Electronics Show its latest portable DVD player/iPod hybrid device. It is called the i1166 and pricing is not yet determined.

The iLuv i1166 is described by its maker as a portable multimedia player with a 9-inch display. It sports the ability to play DVDs while at the same including an integrated iPod dock for playback of video stored on the Apple player. It also acts as a digital photo frame for the viewing of JPEGs stored on discs or a SD/MMC memory card.

Other features of the i1166, due out in March, include a rechargeable battery, included remote control, video output to connect to a television, DivX support, a USB port and support for a variety of disc media formats.
