CES 2009: Logitech Ultimate Ears MetroFi 170, MetroFi 220
Logitech, owners of the Ultimate Ears brand of earphones, revealed this week a few new models of earphones to expand this particular product family. These include the MetroFi 170 and MetroFi 220, priced around $50 and $80, respectively.
These earphones are said to be noise isolating, making use of silicone ear cushions to provide a soft feel in one's ears, but still sturdy enough to offer quality sound isolation. Three different size ear cushions are provided to accommodate different ear canal sizes.
The MetroFi 220s deliver a slightly more full mix of audio then the 170s. Both include a red-colored right earphone to help distinguish between left and right earphones as well as a small carrying case. They will be available in February, with more details to be found soon at the Ultimate Ears Web site.
