CES 2009: JVC HA-NCX78
JVC is introducing a new canal-type noise canceling headephones for those who like in-ear designs. It is called the JVC HA-NCX78 and it will price around $80.
The JVC HA-NCX78 earphones use several different noise-reduction technologies to cut down on external noises which would distract from the listening experience. These technologies are said to cut outside noise by up to 88 percent, as well as cutting down cord friction noise, caused by contact with the cord, electrical noise, caused by the headphones themselves, and wind noise, evident when wind hits the headphone housing.
Features of these over-the-ear style earphones include three sizes of earpieces for more personalized comfort, an in-line monitor to turn off the noise-canceling feature and up to 50 hours of noise-canceling operation powered by a AAA battery. More details on the HA-NCX78, available this March, can be found in JVC's press release.
