The Amazon Kindle, which was reviewed here at About.com recently, is slowly accounting for an increasing number of book sales at online retailing giant Amazon.com. The company has been very happy from this and, as a result, is updating the Kindle with a new look and better features. Enter the Kindle 2, available in later February 2009 for a pricing, at the time of this story being published, of around $360.

It’s funny that Amazon chose Steven King to be the “face” of their Kindle marketing campaign… his name is good for mass appeal, but he looks kind of creepy
I ended up getting a Kindle 2 even though I already have a Kindle 1. I’m still waiting for it to come but after I read some of the new features that it has, I decided that I really wanted the new one after reading a review about it: Kindle 2
I’m sure that when the next Kindle comes out I’ll probably get that one too but we’ll see what happens.
