Well, what do we have here?
Looks like some enterprising sites managed to get an early go with iOS 4.2 for the iPad courtesy of today's beta rollout for developers.
Unfortunately, your portables guide doesn't have any devs whose wheels he can grease. Your guide was also quite unsuccessful in asking, requesting, pleading, and shamelessly begging his source over at Apple to let him have a sneak peak so he can now only go by the word of others.
In addition to the multi-tasking and folders that have already been reported, other additions noted by sites such as CNET and Engadget is the return of the volume silencer switch (replacing the screen orientation lock) and the ability to change the default font for Notes.
Meanwhile, the rest of us peons will have to wait until November to demo the real deal.
