Alas, HP TouchPad, we hardly knew ye.
Fresh along the heels of the announcement that Hewlett-Packard' is looking to offload its PC business, the company's fledgling webOS tablet is now being officially priced at $99.99 and $149.99 for the 16GB and 32GB versions respectively.
The deal is apparently good enough for a bunch of folks as the TouchPads were sold out at the official HP site and Best Buy as of this article's writing.
Some retailers haven't reflected the new pricing on the device yet so stock still appears to be available in those places for now. As for the future of webOS, what happens with the once promising operating system remains to be seen.
