Portable DVD players, though not as hot as they once were, are still extremely popular on the go entertainment devices. You just pop in your favorite DVD, hook in your headphones, press play and you've got two hours of time to enjoy your flick.
AT&T and mobile phone maker LG recently teamed to unveil a new mobile phone which directly supports AT&T's television streaming service. It is called the LG Invision and you'll find it pricing around $100 after contract and mail-in rebate.
The LG Invision, while definitely classified as a mobile phone with its features, is only the third such device to support AT&T's Mobile TV service. This extra monthly fee based service is available in three packages and provides you access to a variety of "mobile television" channels which show full length episodes of programming you might typically watch on your home television. Channel examples include optimized versions of CBS, CNBC, ESPN and FOX.
Besides Mobile TV, the Invision also offers some other interesting features. These include video sharing, a 1.3-megapixel digital camera, downloadable music, streaming XM Radio and Bluetooth 2.0. You can get more details on the LG Invision at AT&T's Web site.
