Recommendations
As time goes on e-readers just continue to get better. If you want extras like the ability to listen to tunes while you read, a 3G option or a collection of apps, this one may not be for you, but the NOOK Simple Touch is one of the best dedicated e-readers I've seen to date. It hits all the right notes: lightweight, easy to use, minimalist, responsive, multiple connectivity options, EPUB support, long battery life and a great display — and does it all at an affordable price point. The only thing I would improve would be to loosen up those buttons a little.
If you are looking for a first e-reader, or an upgrade to a two or three year old model, the NOOK Simple Touch is pretty hard to beat.
