JVC is a venerable name brand in consumer electronics which many people recognize. The company is especially known for its audio gear equipment, including headphones. JVC is debuting for listeners on the go some new in-ear headphones which it is pricing at around $80.

These canal headphones, the JVC HA-SX500, will be available in April 2008.

Features:

The JVC HA-SX500 in-ear canal headphones will make use of a special design called BI-METAL. This headphones structure, according to JVC, houses the 16mm neodymium drive unit in a steel base wrapped in a gravity bass ring to eliminate vibration and energy loss. It is a fair amount of techno mumble, but it equates to what should be an enhanced listening experience.

JVC has designed these headphones to be lightweight, while offering what the company says is a comfortable and secure noise isolating fit. The silicon rubber earpieces will be offered in three included sizes so you can further customize the fit.

The HA-SX500 headphones are built around a cushioned, metallic and foldable headband to complete the picture. A variety of accessories will be included, such as an audio extension cord, carrying case and an iPhone compatible audio plug.
