Features:
The Zen X-Fi and Zen X-Fi with Wireless LAN are two of Creative's latest Zen portable media players. Both players offer nice features in common like up to 36 hours of audio playback or five hours of video playback, a 2.5-inch LCD display, built in speaker and SD memory card slot for expanded storage. What sets the Zen X-Fi with Wireless LAN apart from its brother, however, is the ability to access music wirelessly on your home computer.
The Zen X-Fi with Wireless LAN makes uses of 802.11 wireless technology, commonly found in home settings where a wireless Internet connection exists, to connect to your PC. Through this connection you can wirelessly stream (playback) or download music to the X-Fi. You can also do the same streaming with your compatible video files and digital photos.
Another highlight of these players is the use of Creative's "X-Fi Crystalizer" audio technology to reportedly seriously enhance the audio playback you are listening to. To further enhance this listening experience Creative is throwing in what it says are some quality in-ear earphones with the player.
Other features of the Zen X-Fi players include FM radio, a built-in voice recorder and instant messaging abilities on the wireless model only. Storage sizes for the Zen X-Fi with Wireless LAN are set at 32GB and 16GB, while the regular X-Fi comes in 8GB only.
