Guide Review - Shure E4C Sound Isolating Earphones
The sound isolation technology behind the E4c, says Shure, blocks upwards of 17 percent more noise than regular noise canceling headphones. The seal created by these in-ear earphones blocks a variety of levels of outside noise, making you hear your music easier. They performed as advertised, even at lower level listening volumes.
To further personalize them, Shure has included a variety of sleeves in a fit kit which attach to each earphone nozzle. These sleeves come a in variety of shapes and sizes for a better inner ear seal its just a matter of trying them to find the one which fits best.
As these earphones were designed originally for professional musicians, the E4cs have special built-in sound drivers for quality audio. The end result of this, especially when coupled with the sound isolating design, is a true enjoyment of the entire audio spectrum. Techno music, for example, is more easily discernible both for what the singer is saying as well as the deep bass.
Generally, there was little to dislike with these earphones. Price is a touch high, but beyond that these are really some of the best on the market today.
