There is something to be said for the digital age via the easiness by which you can capture thousands of moments via a digital camera. The downside though is you'll probably never look at a lot of those photos since you'll load them onto your hard drive and forget about them. One class of portable devices – digital photo viewers – aims to change that by offering you an on-the-go solution for showcasing your best shots to friends and family.

One such portable digital photo viewer is the Digital Foci Pocket Album Deluxe OLED 2.8. This pocket size display device differs from regular digital photo frames in that it runs on a rechargeable battery which can be charged via USB or an AC adapter and offers up to five hours of display time. It sports a 2.8-inch display and hosts enough internal memory to hold around 4,000 digital photos.

The contrast ratio of the OLED 2.8 is said to be a sharp 10,000:1, reportedly offering better viewing angles and brighter photos. Photos can be viewed on this device either by manual scrolling or randomly via a built-in slideshow feature with adjustable intervals. Photos stored on here can be organized into five different folders and also be viewed in thumbnail view or by displaying one photo full screen or four photos in 2 x 2 view.

Other features of the Digital Foci Pocket Album Deluxe OLED 2.8 include photo management software, a built-in clock/calendar and accessories such as a viewing stand, wrist strap, USB cable and protective carrying case. It is available in three body colors, including red, blue and black.
