The Boomtube has over 40 watts of power in its 2.75” x 12.5” frame. The system combines four 2” drivers with dual neodymium magnets and MaxxBass technology to put out a sound Think Outside feels rivals larger portable speaker systems. The bass tube has integrated crossover and EQ which pump audio to a pair of matched bass drivers for those looking for a little thump.
The 2” anodized aluminum speakers can be twisted off and be detached up to a meter away via a speaker wire. The Boomtube has a Lithion-Ion rechargeable battery which provides for up to five hours of listening time. When twisted together, the speakers and bass tube combine for a light weight of 3.2 pounds.
