How to Convert Video for Portable Devices

Once you've got your settings dialed in, hit "CONVERT" on the upper left. You'll know it's converting when you see your conversion percentage show up under "Status" as seen above.

Your conversion time can last anywhere from a few minutes to over an hour depending on the length of your video and its format. Files in AVI format tend to convert quicker compared to, say, an MKV file, for example. Longer videos naturally take more time to convert.

Once the conversion finishes, you should have a new file in your Any Video Converter destination folder. In my case, the program created a destination folder named "Any Video Converter" under the "My Documents" folder and placed the converted file in an extra folder named "MP4," which it automatically created.

Windows users can easily access the "My Documents" folder by clicking on the Windows button on your keyboard or the Windows icon on the lower left of your computer screen (it's the one that looks like a waving flag with four panels).

From this point, all you need to do is copy over your converted video into your mobile device and you're good to go.
